Innovation Specialist
About The Role
The Innovation Specialist serves as the primary architect of digital transformation within the Internal Audit department, acting as the end-to-end owner of the Audit Management System while spearheading the adoption of AI and Machine Learning to modernize traditional workflows. By bridging the gap between data engineering and operational auditing, this role focuses on building automated data pipelines, cloud-based analytics, and continuous audit dashboards that directly alleviate auditor pain points and enhance process efficiency. Ultimately, the position combines technical project leadership with a consultative approach, ensuring that the IA team is not only equipped with cutting-edge tools but also trained to leverage data-driven insights to achieve strategic banking objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- As owner and administrator of the Audit Management System application, make sure that the roadmap, design, development and implementation are executed in a timely manner. Maintain and support all administrative configurations related to the system.
- Collaborate with other Internal Audit teams to develop tools, utilize AI Adoption technology in order to ease auditor pain points and help enhance internal audit working process.
- Collaborate with IA Data analytics team, to build automation for data platform, data pipeline and dashboards for continuous audit projects.
- Provide or propose training for internal audit users regarding data tools. Dashboards, AI utilization or any new technology that is going to be used or implemented in the internal audit environment.
- Manage, develop, and troubleshoot all IA existing tools and systems.
Job Requirements
- Have proficient knowledge in data technology specially cloud technology , data pipeline and data modelling
- Have experience in IT Project development, specially in Audit System, or any equivalent system development in banking or audit projects
- Have experience in AI, ML, prediction data modelling project developments, as an engineer or as a team lead.
- Understand banking and Audit process
- Strong critical thinking and creativity for innovating audit approaches using data.
- Detailed on numbers and able to create reports and able to manage multiple task.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Quick learner and able to work independently
