Essential Duties and Responsibilities (This is not an exhaustive list of all duties/responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned)
- Conduct Biopsychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, make referrals, provide individual, couples, family, and group counseling.
- Provide crisis intervention and develop safety plans.
- Provide supervision, consultation, education and training for other program staff, including graduate level interns.
- May provide clinical review and/or supervision of work by other clinicians or subcontracted programs.
- Complete paperwork within agency expected timelines.
- Document into agency’s electronic medical record.
- Provide individualized case management to clients.
- Provide discharge planning for all patients and make appropriate referrals.
- Review treatment plans to ensure the delivery of appropriate interventions.
- Attend multidisciplinary Treatment team meetings, provide updates on patients and their progress toward treatment goals.
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary team structure to expand clinical competency, staff cases, and ensure thorough client care.
- May act as liaison and provide consultation, education and information to community agencies that routinely encounter individuals with mental or emotional disturbances.
