Provides technical expertise within the packaging functional team. Identifies and assesses complex technical problems and provides solutions and recommendations. Manages divisional packaging priorities and resources. Holds a technical leadership role on the packaging functional team by developing and inspiring technical competency. Provides clear technical direction and sets priorities for package engineering direct reports (range of 0-5 reports). Serves as a technical mentor to junior engineers. Technical Skills/Job Knowledge/Other Dimensions • Ability to Execute projects on time and on budget without guidance from manager. Proactively anticipates issues and determines contingency plans. Sets up realistic timelines and testing plans. Works well with cross functional partners to execute projects with excellence. • Tenaciously attacks programs.
