Inside Junior Project Manager
- Provides customer service and support by communicating well with clients; developing client relationships; understanding customer needs and expectations as it relates to the Statement of Work; and always maintaining a professional image.
- Manages assigned projects by utilizing time for maximum productivity; accounting for percentage of time worked for a client; keeping manager informed of project status; accurately completing tasks in a timely manner; coordinating with prime customer and prime customer’s client and company internal staff; maintains record of project escalations and issues; Works with supervisor and senior team members to resolve customer issues.
- Facilitates communications with vendors and customers for installation readiness in accordance with the applicable Statement of Work.
- Maintains accuracy and updates current project databases.
- Creates status reports for the vendor and customer as required.
- Participates and engages in weekly project meetings.
- Reviews subcontractor invoices for accuracy and approves for payment.
- Reviews employee timecards for accuracy and approves for payment.
- Ensures that projects meet defined project timelines and stays within budget.
- Coordinates and tracks any missing components of the client’s shipments. Reports claims to supervisor and provides all incident information.
- Responsible for ensuring proper project closure, including securing customer signoffs and ensuring that all interim and end-of-project billing has been completed.
- Communicates with eBryIT supervisor, making them aware of any billing discrepancies with vendor and/or customers with project related business.
- Communicates project status and shares project information with superiors and subcontractors.
- Manages department and company paperwork responsibilities by submitting completed, detailed, and accurate forms by the required deadlines.
- Adheres to company policies and procedures.
- Displays a consistently positive, cooperative, self-motivated, courteous, and professional attitude as an essential function of this position.
KNOWLEDGE OF: Principles, practices, and methods of IT Projects. Working knowledge of database programs is preferred.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Required: High school graduate or two years or more of progressively responsible project Admin/Coordination/Management experience.
- Required: Minimum of one year in an Inside Project Manager capacity.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
- Preferred: Advanced Excel skill set.
- Principles, practices, and methods of IT Projects.
- A working knowledge of database programs is preferred.
- Incumbent must have clear understanding and interpretation of Statement of Work documents.
- Knowledge of the basic techniques for conducting meetings and conveying technical information.
SKILL AT:
- Planning, coordinating, and managing field installation projects; assisting junior level in problem solving, etc.
- Incumbent must be proficient in Microsoft Office products and demonstrate intermediate level PC technical skills.
- Intermediate to advance Excel skills preferred.
- Good communications skills required.
- It is essential for incumbent to demonstrate the ability to work independently with guidance to prioritize and complete tasks as per defined deadlines.
- Attention to detail a must.
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment, but may involve exposure to moderate noise levels from high-speed computer printers and other peripherals.
- Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for four or more hours daily.
- Occasionally may work evenings, weekends, and/or other than normal work hours as necessary.
- May travel locally when needed for project related site visits or pilots.
