Inside Sales

This privately held industrial-supply partner pioneers turnkey inventory programs for mission-critical fasteners and consumables, ensuring that factories nationwide keep running without interruption. As they expand their regional service hubs, they need a detail-oriented problem-solver to act as the “air-traffic controller” between customers, warehouses, and suppliers. If you thrive on juggling data, coordinating cross-functional teams, and making sure production lines never stop, this role will put you at the center of the action - while opening doors to rapid career growth in a $20-billion-plus organization.

Why Join?

  • Your work keeps high-profile manufacturing lines stocked and on schedule.
  • Defined progression paths into strategic account management, team leadership, or business-unit management.
  • Collaborative teams, robust training programs, and leaders who invest in your success.
  • Competitive base salary, quarterly bonus potential, and comprehensive benefits.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the order-to-delivery cycle - monitor demand signals in SAP, enter/adjust orders, and coordinate shipments to meet strict customer KPIs.
  • Analyze customer prints, build cost models in Excel, and issue accurate, profitable quotations.
  • Expedite shortages, investigate discrepancies, and drive resolutions across inventory, logistics, and quality teams.
  • Maintain contract pricing, shipping terms, and CRM details; generate reports that highlight trends, risks, and improvement ideas.
  • Present cost-savings ideas, refine VMI/Kanban bin setups, and participate in quarterly business reviews.
  • Serve as the primary internal contact for a portfolio of regional manufacturing accounts - earning “trusted advisor” status through prompt, professional support.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 + years in inside sales, customer service, account management, or supply-chain operations - ideally within industrial or fastener distribution.
  • Proven ERP fluency (SAP strongly preferred) and advanced Excel capabilities (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic macros).
  • Comfort reading mechanical drawings and translating technical requirements into clear, competitive quotes.
  • Analytical mindset - able to spot trends in inventory and usage data, then recommend actionable solutions.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills; ease navigating between shop-floor teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree a plus (business, supply-chain, or engineering); HS diploma/GED required.
