Inside Sales Coordinator
Position Summary
Inside Sales Coordinators (internally known as Recruiting Coordinators) are the first point of contact for student-athletes and their families, introducing them to the college recruiting process and helping them explore the athletic development and recruiting pathways available through the IMG Academy+ and NCSA ecosystem. In this full-time, entry-level sales position, you will make high-volume outbound calls to educate families on the recruiting journey, identify athletes committed to playing at the next level, and schedule consultations with Senior Sales Specialists who will provide personalized recommendations.
Success in this role requires strong communication skills, a competitive mindset, and a passion for helping student-athletes achieve their goals. On average, first-year Inside Sales Coordinators who meet performance expectations earn between $41,000 and $50,000 annually. Position Responsibilities
Make 80–100+ structured outbound calls per day to prospective student-athletes and their families between 8:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. local time
Introduce families to the college recruiting process and educate them on athlete development, recruiting timelines, and the programs and pathways available through the IMG Academy+ and NCSA ecosystem
Build trust with families by clearly explaining available resources and identifying their goals and level of interest
Qualify prospective student-athletes and schedule consultations with Senior Sales Specialists for personalized needs assessments and solution recommendations
Participate in sales team meetings and conduct timely client follow-up
Utilize CRM and sales tools to accurately document interactions and manage outreach
Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals that directly impact earnings
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Minimum of six months of professional work or internship experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals
Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends
Basic understanding of athlete development and the college recruiting landscape
Passion for helping student-athletes and families navigate their athletic and academic opportunities
Preferred Skills
One year of sales experience, particularly in a high-volume outbound sales environment
Prior experience in sports as a collegiate athlete, coach, or in a related role
Experience using CRM platforms; Salesforce preferred
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
