Description
We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team! In this role, you'll work directly with customers to understand their needs, provide product recommendations, prepare quotes, and process orders.
The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email, providing product information, pricing, availability, and technical support.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding their needs and delivering exceptional service.
Prepare quotes, process sales orders, and ensure accuracy and timely follow-up.
Recommend additional products and solutions to support customer needs and identify sales opportunities.
Partner with outside sales, warehouse teams, and vendors to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
Assist customers with product selection, specifications, and availability.
Resolve customer concerns and maintain accurate customer and order records.
Follow company policies, procedures, and service standards.
Qualifications
2–3 years of sales or customer service experience, preferably in wholesale distribution.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Customer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
Comfortable using computers and learning sales and inventory systems.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
Preferred:
2–3 years of experience in industrial wholesale distribution, particularly pipe, valves, and fittings (PVF).
Knowledge of industrial products, applications, and terminology.
Experience preparing quotes, processing orders, and supporting customer accounts.
