Main Responsibilities

Key Purpose

  • Deliver market leading category and event-based market research
  • Deliver insights that prove the effectiveness of advertising campaigns with Mail Metro Media
  • Providing actionable audience insights for reactive and proactive brief responses
  • Create compelling insight-focussed sales materials
  • Extract insights from our Matters reader community through qualitative and quantitative research
  • Bringing insight to life through effective storytelling

Accountable for

  • Extracting insights from our third-party sources of insight (i.e. TGI, Mintel, PAMCo)
  • Extracting insights from our first-party sources of insight (i.e. reader community, Google Analytics)
  • Assisting in the day-to-day to management of our reader community (i.e. writing tasks, setting up tasks, responding to readers, delivering community newsletters)
  • Writing, scripting and launching surveys
  • Delivering campaign effectiveness studies from start to finish (i.e. writing, scripting, launching, analysing and presenting the results to clients)
  • Day-to-day management of specified advertiser category (i.e. charities, lotteries). This includes building relationships with key internal stakeholders, receiving briefs and presenting results.
  • Updating marketing decks with the latest audience stats
  • Providing the relevant insights for brief responses and subsequent reach and frequency analysis.

Person Specification

Experience

  • Knowledge of / experience with using industry insight tools (i.e. TGI, Mintel, Telmar, PAMCo)
  • Knowledge of / experience of qualitative research (i.e. writing discussion guides, interviews, focus groups etc)
  • Knowledge of / experience of quantitative (i.e. questionnaire design, analysis techniques)
  • Knowledge of / experience digital analytic software (i.e. Google Analytics)
  • Knowledge of the advertising marketplace

Skills

  • Strong mathematical and analytic skills
  • Strong knowledge of different AI tools and their uses cases
  • Problem solving
  • Strong excel skills
  • Enthusiasm and keen to learn
