Summary

On-site inspector in Western Australia performs non-destructive testing (NDT) on oilfield tubulars and equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

  • Based in Barrow Island, WA
  • FIFO 15/13 Roster, 12hrs shift
  • Permanent Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Inspector (OCTG, Drill Stem, Production Tubulars) to join our Barrow Island operations. This role will carry out inspection and testing activities in compliance with contractual requirements and within competence and safety limits. Also, market and develop the growth of the business.

The scope of inspection includes, but is not limited to:

  • NDT inspection of various industrial equipment, Drill Stem & Production Tubulars.
  • Carry out inspections to provide accurate and timely information to customers according to required standards/specifications.
  • Assist in services and verification services to customers to support their compliance or decision making and maximise return and efficiency.
  • Specialised Oilfield inspections on Drillpipe, BHA, Specialty Tools, Production Tubing /Casing In accordance with various Industry standards, DS1, NS2, API and other licensor specifications.
  • Monitor resources so that customer’s needs are met in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
  • Reporting
  • Calibration of equipment
  • Assist in job specific administration duties as required.
  • Comply with the requirements of ISO9001

The ideal candidate will have:

  • NDT Qualifications – minimum certification, Level 2 MT,PT, UT- ASNT or equivalent
  • Extensive & demonstrated knowledge in the Inspection of Drillpipe, BHA, Specialty Tools, Production Tubing /Casing In accordance with various Industry standards, DS1, NS2, API and other licensor specifications.
  • Experience in administration aspect of inspection processes and reporting.
  • Minimum 10 years field experience.
