Description

Install Manager – Lead and Grow Our Installation Department

Location: Eugene, Oregon
Pay: $90,000–$115,000 annually, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday

Lead Something That Matters

Reynolds Electric, Plumbing, Heating and Air is looking for an Install Manager to take ownership of a critical part of our operation and help shape the future of our installation department.

This is more than a scheduling or field supervisor role. You will be responsible for the overall performance of our installation operation, leading people, improving processes, managing performance, and making sure our customers receive a quality experience from the initial sale through project completion.

You'll lead our HVAC, electrical, and underground installation operations while working closely with Sales, Dispatch, Service, and other leaders across the company. You will have the opportunity to build stronger systems, develop your team, improve accountability, and help Reynolds grow its installation business.

If you're an experienced home-services leader who understands HVAC installation, knows how to develop people, and enjoys turning challenges into better processes, we want to hear from you.

What's In It For You

We believe great leaders deserve great support. You'll receive:

  • $90,000–$115,000 annual salary based on experience
  • 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees
  • Optional dependent coverage with up to 60% employer contribution
  • 120 hours of front-loaded PTO plus 7–9 paid holidays
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Company vehicle
  • Ongoing leadership and technical training
  • Opportunities to grow your career as Reynolds continues to grow
  • The opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a critical part of the business

What You'll Own

As Install Manager, you'll be accountable for the performance and development of our installation department.

You'll oversee installation operations from the time a job is sold through completion, ensuring our teams have what they need to succeed and that work is completed safely, efficiently, profitably, and to Reynolds standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead, coach, and develop installation teams and department leaders
  • Oversee HVAC, electrical, and underground installation operations
  • Hold the installation department accountable for revenue, profitability, efficiency, quality, and customer experience
  • Monitor key performance indicators and use data to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Review sold jobs to ensure scope, materials, labor, and job expectations are aligned before installation
  • Partner with Sales to address scope, job readiness, and customer expectations
  • Work closely with Dispatch and the Install Coordinator to resolve scheduling issues and keep production moving
  • Monitor labor hours, job costing, material costs, and overall job profitability
  • Maintain high standards for installation quality, safety, and code compliance
  • Identify and address installation issues, callbacks, warranty concerns, and customer escalations
  • Conduct field visits and quality inspections when needed
  • Coach team members through performance challenges and recognize strong performance
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and development of installation team members
  • Build clear expectations and accountability across the installation department
  • Improve processes, communication, systems, and workflows as the department grows
  • Work with company leadership to identify opportunities to improve installation capacity and performance
  • Help develop future leaders within the installation department

What Success Looks Like

You'll know you're succeeding when:

  • The installation department consistently meets revenue and profitability goals
  • Jobs are completed efficiently and within expected labor hours
  • Installation quality is consistent and callbacks are minimized
  • Customers receive a smooth, professional experience
  • Sales, Dispatch and Install stay aligned so jobs are properly prepared, scheduled, communicated, and completed.
  • Team members are being coached, developed, and given opportunities to grow
  • Problems are identified and addressed before they become larger issues
  • Processes become more organized and scalable as the department grows
  • The installation department is positioned for continued growth

This Is an Opportunity to Build

Reynolds has been serving our community for more than 65 years. We're an established, family-owned company with a strong reputation, but we're not standing still.

We're investing in our people, our systems, and the future of our business.

The Install Manager will play an important role in that growth. You'll have the opportunity to strengthen an installation operation, develop people, improve the way teams work together, and help build systems that can support Reynolds for years to come.

If you're looking for a leadership role where you can make a real impact—not simply maintain the status quo—we'd like to meet you.
