INSTALLATION RESILIENCE ADVISOR

The primary purpose of this position is to provide developmental experience designed to broaden the skills and/or enhance the leadership perspective of an identified high potential manager / executive candidate; it is not a continuing position and assignment duration is NTE 36 months.
DUTY 1: Serves as integrator and advisor for enterprise-wide installation resilience across Department of the Air Force (DAF) activities in matters relating to installation, energy, water, cyber and severe weather resilience and operational energy, to include protection response and recovery. DUTY 2: Analyzes a wide range of strategic information and prepares reports, proposals, briefings, and advocates, as necessary, to express the SAF/IEE enterprise position regarding installation resilience matters at the strategic level. DUTY 3: Serves as the technical lead in a variety of agency and functional area organizations with SAF/HAF offices, OSD offices, the Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center (AFIMSC), the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC), as well as the MAJCOM and installation civil engineer staffs. DUTY 4: Leads and identifies the need for special projects related to installation resilience and other matters as directed by the Deputy Assistant Secretary (Infrastructure, Energy, Environment) SAF/IEE.
