INSTALLATION SUPPORT SPECIALIST (ID)
SUMMARY
Provide high quality installation plans to assure the safety, quality and on-time completions of installation projects. Prepare preliminary installation schedules, resource forecasts, logistics plans, budgets and risk assessments. Communicate with project stakeholders to assure understanding of project requirements. Be point of contact with our customers to gather requirements present installation plans and respond to requests for information. Be owner of continuous improvement process for installation business processes. Design and develop new installation processes. Develop installation training programs and define training requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Conduct and help facilitate a safe working environment. Present Project Plans to Safety Team for review.
- Be familiar with business process development, mapping, and continuous improvement processes.
- Be self-motivated worker in order to analyze, define, communicate, and solve business improvements.
- Support Sales in Creating Installation Proposals including proposed budgets, schedules, unique installation tools and procedures, and logistics plans.
- Forecast and request project resource assignments.
- Be a point of contact and support project changes, revise schedules, resource forecasts, logistics plans, and procurement plans.
- Create and Maintain Installation Project Forecasts
- Support the procurement team in finding, qualifying and selecting installation contractors and suppliers.
- Participate in Project and Procurement Lessons Learned meetings.
- Roll-up project reporting for company executive reporting.Be a Project Management Office team member supporting site installation teams for successful completion of installation projects.
