Installation Technician Apprentice - Commercial Security Systems
NewBe an early applicant- Responding to installation projects and service calls within the assigned service area with the objective of installing, servicing, and restoring systems to full functionality.
- Following established processes and procedures to ensure all assigned tasks are completed accurately, safely, and in accordance with Tech Systems’ policies and standards.
- Communicating with customers and internal team members regarding the status, progress, and completion of assigned work.
- Assisting with the installation and service of low-voltage electronic security systems, including access control, video surveillance, and related technologies.
- Supporting troubleshooting and technical support activities as needed.
- Assisting with other operational duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Regional Manager, Regional Vice President, or TSi executive leadership.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior electronics, low-voltage, construction, or technical education/experience preferred.
- Experience with card access systems and CCTV installation is a plus, but not required.
- Basic working knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and other related software applications.
- Exposure to or interest in networking and IP-based systems preferred.
- Working knowledge of Smartsheet or similar project management applications preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment..
