Installation Technician-Lead
We are looking for an experienced Lead Installation Technician to join our team in Florida. The ideal candidate should have experience installing and servicing commercial security systems, be comfortable leading jobs in the field, and have a strong work ethic.
This position requires travel, including overnight stays, depending on project location.
Our team installs and services a variety of systems, including DMP intrusion systems, Verkada, March Networks, Verint, 3xLOGIC, Hanwha Vision, Bosch, access control systems, surveillance cameras, and ATMs. Experience with any of these platforms is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Lead installation projects from start to finish.
- Read and interpret blueprints and installation drawings.
- Install and troubleshoot intrusion, access control, video surveillance, and related low-voltage systems.
- Manage jobsite workflow and maintain a safe, professional work environment.
- Train and assist junior technicians and helpers.
- Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and office staff.
Requirements:
- Experience installing commercial low-voltage or security systems.
- Ability to work independently and lead a crew.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work on ladders and construction sites.
