Installer - Commercial Audiovisual
Lumibuild is a commercial AV integrator headquartered in Emeryville, CA and we're looking to hire an experienced and energetic AV Installer. We are a young, fast-growing company and are looking for team members who are ambitious and want to grow with us! The roles are full-time and require travel around the Bay Area.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Mount projectors, motorized projector screens, displays, microphones, etc in various places and surfaces (walls, ceilings, metal, concrete, etc)
- Work as part of a crew or independently with General Contractors
- Proficiency with construction techniques and structured cabling
- Able to wire/terminate low voltage, audio, and video cabling (Cat5, RG6, etc)
- Ability to safely use hand/power tools
- Ability to solder and crimp connectors
- Commitment to work within specified deadlines and provide daily field updates
- Excellent organizational skills and the desire to work for a professional and fun company
- The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work and wants to develop a career in the commercial AV industry
Requirements
• 2+ Years of commercial AV installation experience
• CTS certification is a plus
• Familiarity with Extron, Crestron and various audio DSPs
• Ability to read/interpret schematics and drawings
• Work off of a ladder
• Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and work within varied conditions some which may be small or confined
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license
• Flexibility to travel or work overtime as necessary
