Instructional Aide, Clark Elementary
Summary
Supports teachers and counselors in a K-12 classroom by assisting with instruction, student supervision, and progress monitoring. No IT or coding responsibilities.
Primary Objective: Under the direction of the building principal, assist certified staff in supporting students; monitor and report student progress.
Essential Functions:
- Assist teachers with instruction of individual and small groups of students in the classroom
- Assist counselors in their support of students
- Assist with building supervision including but not limited to hallway, lunch, and recess
- Other duties as assigned
Education: Minimum of sixty (60) college hours
Certification: Missouri teacher certification and/or substitute teacher certification preferred
Hours of Employment: Eight (8) hours as an instructional aide
Benefits: Eligible
Base Rate: $17.91/hourly
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
