Instructional Aide - South Campus

General Description:
The Instructional Aide will serve as an assistant to the teacher/s in the classroom at CUSSD South Campus.

Qualifications:

• Must be a mature and growing Christian who is committed to the Christian Unified Schools philosophy of education.
• Must be able to work individually and/or with small groups of students.
• Must have the following skills: typing, organizational skills, be able to multi- task, proficient in general office and basic computer skills.
• If called on to substitute teach in a classroom, must have a college/university degree (CUSSD policy).

Responsibilities:

• Will report directly to the Principal.
• May be assigned to specific classroom teacher.
• May re-teach individual or small groups of students in a pullout session.
• May substitute teach for an absent teacher and/or may have recess, lunch, or playground supervision responsibilities.
• Will participate in school-sponsored events.
• Hours will be determined by the Site Principal.
• Other duties as assigned.
