Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts: Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather technical materials, product information, and engineering processes to develop content.
  • Target audience research: Conduct behavioral and task analyses to determine the appropriate scope, type, and medium of learning solutions for the target audience.
  • Develop learning content: Transform technical inputs, design documents, and course specifications into effective and engaging content deliverables.
  • Create instructional materials: Design and update instructional materials, including e-learning courses, instructor-led training, and job aids, applying instructional design principles.
  • Use e-learning tools: Utilize e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) to create interactive and multimedia-rich course content.
  • Evaluate effectiveness: Measure training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, continuously improving learning outcomes.
  • Ensure learning pedagogy: Apply creative techniques and sound instructional strategies to ensure learning effectiveness, engagement, and outcomes.
  • Track performance metrics: Focus on solution feedback, solution quality indicators, development process compliance, schedule variance, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Experience:
3-5 years of experience in instructional design and learning solution development.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Competencies:

  • Learning principles & design models: Strong understanding of learning theories and instructional design frameworks, with experience developing innovative training solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Training needs analysis: Skilled in analyzing training needs and designing structured learning programs.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in one-on-one and team settings.
  • E-learning authoring tools: Proficiency in tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and multimedia/graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Research & prototyping: Experience in research, experimentation, ideation, prototyping, iteration, and testing of learning solutions.
  • Project management: Ability to manage learning projects independently, using Agile concepts as necessary. Skilled in managing competing priorities to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
  • Stakeholder management: Proven experience in building and maintaining engagement with stakeholders, particularly in remote collaborations with international teams.
