Instructional Designer (Contract) | Onsite - Noida or Pune, India | Open to India-based candidates only

Location: Pune or Noida, India — Hybrid (3 days office, 2 days home)

Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM IST

Engagement: Contract

The Role

We're looking for instructional designers with hands-on experience building eLearning and writing video scripts. You'll turn source material and design briefs into storyboards, eLearning modules, and other learning assets for our clients, working closely with senior team members who'll guide and review your work. Comfort using AI tools to speed up your workflow is critical for this role.

What You'll Do

● Read briefs and source material, identify what a module needs to cover, and flag gaps before you start building

● Build modules in Storyline or Rise — screens, interactions, branching, visuals — and test your own work before it goes to review

● Write and revise video scripts for motion-based learning content

● Use AI tools to get a faster first draft of content or scripts, then edit until it's accurate and reads right

● Self-check your work against a quality checklist, incorporate reviewer feedback, and document what changed and why

● Sit in on kickoffs or client review calls with senior team members to learn how work gets scoped

The Three Things That Matter Most

  1. Instructional design — working knowledge of ID methodologies (ADDIE, Bloom's, adult learning principles) and the ability to apply them with guidance

  2. Strong attention to detail and quality — you catch errors and inconsistencies in your own work before anyone else has to

  3. eLearning development experience — proficiency in Storyline, Rise, or an equivalent authoring tool, with real modules you've built to show for it

Also Needed

● Experience in instructional design, eLearning development, or content creation for digital formats

● Working knowledge of AI-assisted workflows, with awareness of when outputs need human review

● Basic visual design sense — layout, typography, color choices that read as clean and client-appropriate

● Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communication, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)

● Comfortable with everyday business tools (Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, SharePoint, email, task tracking)

Nice to Have

● Experience with video creation/editing tools such as Synthesia, Runway.ml, or Vyond

● Awareness of SCORM packaging and LMS deployment

● Exposure to WCAG accessibility standards for eLearning

● Familiarity with version control and a defined content development lifecycle
