Job Description
As an Instructional Designer/eLearning Editor, you are required to:
- Conceptualize and strategize creative and engaging concepts for eLearning courses
- Work with internal colleagues to create custom eLearning courses and materials (storyboarding, voiceover scripts, etc.) for corporate clients from various industries
- Work with in-house editorial teams to develop off-the-shelf eLearning courses and materials
- Create eLearning courses and materials required for internal training
- Attend client meetings and present ideas where relevant
- Work closely with in-house development teams to produce engaging interactions and activities for eLearning courses
- Provide editorial support to miscellaneous publications, client projects and internal communications as needed
- Perform various writing and editing tasks for non eLearning projects
Job Requirements
- Excellent command of English
- Team player and possess good communicationskills
- Meticulous with an eye for detail, innovative, flexible and willing to learn
- Good time management is a MUST
- Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and its features
- Familiar with eLearning software e.g. Articulate Storyline will be a plus
- 1 year contract, may be extendable to longer contract term or full time depending on performance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Instructional Design / Multimedia Development / Software/ IT or equivalent, OR
- Experience or familiarity with learning and development / instructional design / adult learning / curriculum development
