Position Overview

The Instructional Designer for the Trade Promotion Optimization (TPO) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) area develops and maintains learning curricula covering assortment management, advanced analytics, and optimization. These curricula support XTEL’s Augmented Data Management (ADAM) solution and Trade Promotion Optimization (TPO) capabilities, enabling customers and partners to make smarter, data-driven decisions using XTEL’s solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product, Data Science, and Customer teams to understand ADAM / TPO workflows and decision flows.

  • Design learning journeys for analytical users (category managers, revenue growth managers, data-savvy marketers).

  • Create content that explains optimization logic, strategic analysis, and insights interpretation in business-friendly language across all pillars of Revenue Growth Management (RGM)

  • Develop hands-on labs and “practice datasets” where learners can safely experiment with optimization and analytics features.

  • Embed best-practice playbooks (e.g., how to choose scenarios, how to interpret uplift recommendations, how to challenge outputs).

  • Collaborate with Video & Media to craft guided scenario walk-throughs.

  • Ensure ADAM / TPO learning remains aligned with model updates, UX changes, and new analytical features.

  • Contribute to certification tracks for advanced users and partner analysts.

Qualifications

A great candidate will have:

  • 3–7+ years in instructional design for analytics / data products / optimization tools, or strong analytics background with software industry experience.

  • Comfort working with data science/analytics teams and translating models into usable stories and workflows.

  • Understanding of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) category management, RGM, or trade optimization preferred.

  • Fluency in both spoken and written English

Geographical Location:

  • EU

  • Open to both Full remote and Hybrid work arrangements (only if you are based near to our office in Leuven, Belgium)
