Instructional Support Specialist/Testing Coordinator

An Instructional Support Specialist bridges the gap between educators and effective learning, providing curriculum development, technology integration, and teacher coaching with a focus on instructional technology.

Core Responsibilities
  • Teacher Coaching & Training: Observe classroom instruction, model best practices, and provide feedback to help educators improve lesson delivery.
  • Curriculum Design: Work with teachers to develop instructional materials, design engaging lesson plans, and align educational content with current state standards.
  • Data Analysis: Facilitate the review of student assessments to identify performance trends and suggest targeted interventions.
  • Technology Integration: Assist faculty and students with utilizing educational technologies, digital learning platforms, and accessibility tools.
  • Administer the state mandated testing program for middle and high school students, working closley with the school counselor

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: Typically requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field. Masters in School Administration preferred.
  • Certification: In public K-12 settings, a valid state teaching license is preferred.
  • Experience: Three to five years of proven classroom teaching or instructional coaching experience is often preferred.
  • Key Skills: Strong proficiency in educational technology, excellent data-driven problem solving, and highly collaborative communication.
