Position Summary The University of Illinois Chicago School of Law's Louis L. Biro Law Library seeks an Instructor and Reference Librarian to join its team of librarians in providing research services to students, faculty, and other patrons of the Law Library. The position will hold Instructor faculty rank within the School of Law faculty and report to the Director of Law Library Instructional Technology. This role is suitable for an early career librarian. Duties Responsibilities Teach courses in the School of Law curriculum, including Advanced Legal Research and courses in the Lawyering Skills (legal research and writing) program; Provide research and reference service to students, faculty, and other patrons of the Law Library, both in-person and remotely; Conduct research instruction sessions and consultations for School of Law classes, individual patrons, and groups of patrons; Create and update research guides and other information for patrons; Participate in Law Library planning and collection development; Perform other duties as assigned.
