Job Description
The Instrument Engineer will be responsible for design,installation, calibration, testing, commissioning, and maintenance ofinstrumentation and control systems used in marine, offshore, and petrochemicalprojects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and review instrumentation systems and control loops.
- Prepare technical specifications, datasheets, and engineering documents.
- Conduct calibration, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
- Support project execution from design to completion.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements.
- Liaise with clients and project stakeholders.
- Participate in FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities.
Requirements
- Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years' relevant experience.
- Experience in marine, offshore, oil & gas, petrochemical, or shipyard industries preferred.
- Knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA, and industrial automation systems.
- Familiarity with instrumentation standards and engineering practices.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
