INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC TEACHER

10-Month Position
NJ Department of Education Certification Required
- Music or
- qualify for certification through the Limited Instructional Certification Program
Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate for Music or ability to obtain certification through the Limited Instructional Certification Program.
- Holder of Certificates of Eligibility must complete the 50-hour pre-professional experience as required by the NJ Department of Education.
- Demonstrated knowledge of subject specialty and effective teaching methods.
- Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effectively communicates and understands job instructions both verbally and written in the English language.
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
