Instrumentation & Controls Engineer
Responsible
for monitoring installation, testing, inspection, and quality compliance of
instrumentation, automation, PLC, and DCS systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor instrumentation installation, testing, calibration, and
inspection activities.
- Review and approve ITPs, method statements, work instructions,
and QA/QC documents.
- Verify instrument material delivery, storage, installation, and
testing against project requirements.
- Conduct actual, witness, and surveillance inspections as per
approved ITP.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor activities.
- Maintain inspection records, traceability, and daily quality
reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation / Automation Engineering
or equivalent.
- Electrical qualification is desirable.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in large oil & gas /
petrochemical instrumentation works.
- Experience in PLC, DCS, field instruments, control systems,
installation, testing, and QA/QC inspection.
- Good knowledge of international codes, project specifications,
ITPs, and quality records.
- Fluent in English and proficient in MS Office.
