Instrumentation Engineer

Instrumentation Engineer – Qatar CLIENT Linum Consult’s client is a major organisation in the Middle East. They are currently seeking an Instrumentation Engineer from an industrial construction background to join their team in Qatar. RESPONSIBILITIES • Using the technical specification of the Customer, the Company’s basic design and reference documents, you will develop the requisition design for the Instrumentation & Control Systems for an industrial construction project • Managing the documentation for field instruments selection, specification and installation • Basic design of cable routing and coordinating with external agencies or draftsmen for the detailed design • Collaborating with team members and management to address any technical issues and suggesting solutions

PROFILE • 12 years of experience in Instrumentation Engineering on industrial buildings or energy construction projects • Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering from a reputable university • Ability to work autonomously on Instrumentation and Control engineering activities in Oil & Gas applications • Familiarity of C&I International Codes • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages and AutoCAD • Excellent communication skills, including fluency in spoken and written English • Candidates currently based in Qatar will be given first preference
