Instrumentation Field Service Engineer #HJN
Duties:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, servicing, start-up and warranty repairs for equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair gas detection and instrumentation equipment.
- Respond to breakdowns, emergency service calls and other technical requests.
- Support service projects, safety activities and ad hoc technical assignments.
- Manage service orders and coordinate with Service, Logistics and other teams to ensure timely fulfilment.
- Liaise with customers and internal teams on technical issues, equipment status and delivery schedules.
- Ensure efficient equipment turnaround and timely response to breakdowns.
- Communicate technical information clearly to customers and relevant stakeholders.
- Follow Workplace Safety & Health requirements and participate in safety activities.
Requirements
- Min Diploma with 1–3 years of relevant technical experience, OR Higher Nitec in Electrical, Electronics, Process Instrumentation or Mechatronics Engineering with 5–6 years of experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in a technical, field service or equipment maintenance role, preferably within Oil & Gas or Process industries highly advantageous
- Experience with instrumentation equipment is preferred.
