Insulator
- Install insulation on HVAC ductwork, chilled water pipes, refrigerant lines, and related equipment.
- Measure, cut, and fit insulation materials such as glass wool, rock wool, foam, elastomeric, and calcium silicate.
- Apply insulation cladding where required.
- Seal joints, seams, and openings using tapes, adhesives, mastics, or sealants.
- Read and interpret insulation drawings, isometric layouts, and specifications.
- Ensure proper thickness, density, and coverage as per project requirements.
- Carry out insulation removal, repair, and replacement when required.
- Coordinate with HVAC technicians, pipe fitters, and supervisors.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of insulation materials.
- Follow safety procedures, especially while handling fiberglass and working at heights.
- Experience in HVAC / MEP / Oil & Gas insulation works.
- 2–5 years of experience in HVAC/industrial insulation.
- ITI / relevant educational background.
- Knowledge of insulation materials and application methods.
- Ability to read basic technical drawings and work instructions.
- Skilled in measuring, cutting, and finishing insulation work.
- Willingness to work in remote locations as required.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
- Effective communication skills.
