Insulator - Oil & Gas Project
Job Purpose
To perform insulation works on piping, equipment, and structures in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and supervisor instructions, ensuring proper thermal, acoustic, and protective insulation installation.
Key Responsibilities
Measure, cut, and install insulation materials on pipes, ducts, tanks, and equipment.
Perform both hot and cold insulation, including aluminum cladding/jacketing.
Ensure insulation work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and supervisor guidance.
Safely handle insulation materials such as rock wool, glass wool, foam glass, and calcium silicate.
Conduct finishing work including sealing, banding, and weatherproofing of insulation.
Maintain housekeeping and follow strict HSE rules at site.
Report defects, damage, or safety concerns to supervisors.
Assist in scaffolding and safe access arrangements where required.
Minimum 2–4 years’ experience as an Insulator in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical projects.
Knowledge of various insulation techniques (hot, cold, cryogenic, cladding).
Ability to use insulation tools (measuring tape, cutters, banding tools).
Able to read and follow basic insulation drawings/sketches.
Physically fit to work in outdoor plant/industrial conditions.
Basic English communication (Arabic is a plus).
