Salesforce.com is a core functional area within KKR Technology, reporting to our CIO. For this exceptional opportunity as a Senior Salesforce team member, you will lead the resolution of complex business challenges leveraging Financial Services Cloud, working as part of a distributed, offshore-based team collaborating closely with U.S.-based stakeholders. This role will focus on the following objectives:
• Lead the design and delivery of innovative Salesforce.com solutions using advanced Configuration on the Financial Services Cloud platform to support our business
• Drive our support and enhancement projects, ensuring underlying data is high quality, well-governed, and compliant with Salesforce.com Financial Services guidelines
• Own and advance our Mobile strategy
• Strengthen and mature security and audit practices across the org
• Lead reporting efforts leveraging AI, including guiding less experienced team members on approach
• Mentor junior and mid-level analysts, providing technical guidance and quality oversight
• Serve as a trusted advisor to end users and business partners, overseeing day-to-day operations
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Independently gather, analyze, and refine complex business requirements, partnering directly with business stakeholders across time zones
• Lead design of technical and functional implementation solutions from business requirements, with minimal oversight
• Architect and build solutions leveraging Salesforce.com Configuration technologies (objects, flows, formula fields, reports and dashboards, AppExchange products), applying best practices and scalable design patterns
• Define and oversee test strategy, including Unit and Integration testing, ensuring quality across the team's deliverables
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolve complex issues during functional testing and UAT phases using advanced Salesforce debug tools
• Drive business and technology discussions for requirement gathering analysis, prototyping, design reviews, and testing; represent the team in cross-functional and leadership conversations
• Design and govern scalable data models within Salesforce, applying sound object-oriented architecture principles
• Own deployment and post-production support of solutions in the Salesforce.com environment, leveraging scratch orgs and partnering with our tech lead on CI/CD best practices
• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for process improvement, escalating and resolving issues with limited guidance
• Ensure effective communication and coordination across offshore and onshore teams, accommodating overlapping working hours as needed
• Support our end users with their onboarding questions and issues
QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong business acumen with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment
• At least 8–10 years of experience as a Salesforce.com functional analyst/consultant, including demonstrated experience designing and delivering complex configuration-based solutions
• Proven experience mentoring or leading junior analysts/developers
• Significant relevant experience in the Financial Services industry, ideally with Financial Services Cloud
• Passion for technology, architecture, and problem solving at scale
• Strong experience with object-oriented design and SQL or Excel
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables in a distributed team model
• Strong work ethic, teamwork, and cross-cultural collaboration skills
• Ability to ramp up quickly and adapt to shifting priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with experience working with U.S.-based stakeholders
• Flexibility to accommodate overlapping hours with onshore teams as needed
• Ability to work in a very fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• Salesforce certifications preferred (e.g., Administrator, Platform App Builder, Financial Services Cloud)
