This employee works the company's Insurance Eligibility Queue, which identifies when a patient's insurance has termed, as well as any issues with insurance.
- Works to ensure that the patient's health care benefits cover the required DME equipment
- Required to contact a patient's insurance company to verify coverage levels, deductibles, and out of pocked expenses for DME coverage
- Working directly with our patients may be required

- Enter data in an accurate manner
- Update patient benefit information in the insurance system and verify the existing information is accurate
- Requires the specialist to spend extensive amounts of time on the phone with insurance companies and/or patients
