Summary
Build and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and ML models for insurance firms using SQL, Power BI, and analytics to drive decisions and performance measurement.
Multinational to medium-size insurance companies are looking for Data Analytics / Data Science / Data Engineering / Data Architect / Data Governance at various levels for the business growth. (Junior to Senior Level)
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Statistics, Quantitative Analysis, Computer Science, Data Science or related disciplines
- experience working in Data Science / Machine Learning / Data Analytics / Data Engineering / Data Governance roles
- Proven track record in using data to measure performance, build tools and make decisions
- Excellent in using Power BI; Knowledgeable in other BI tools, e.g. Google Analytics; Advanced Excel skills
- Strong in database concepts and competence in SQL query and optimization
- Understanding of the insurance value chain.
- Experience in leading business insights and analytics projects via internal resources, and/ or external research partners / vendors is a plus. Project management experience is preferred
- Ability to resolve ambiguity and manage conflicting needs from stakeholders while working within the constraints of a complex technical and operational environment
- Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking with strong analytical and implementation skills
- Ability to work independently under pressure, and can handle multiple and ad-hoc tasks with a can-do attitude as an individual or a team player
- Result-oriented and self-motivated; Intellectual curiosity and proactive, ability to learn fast
- Good communication and presentation skills
