Intake Case Manager | Personal Injury

The Ward Law Group is seeking a bilingual Intake Case Manager to support clients through the early stages of their personal injury cases. This role is ideal for someone who combines personal injury experience with compassionate communication, strong follow-through, and the ability to manage a busy caseload.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct intake interviews and collect information about accidents, injuries, medical treatment, and insurance coverage.
- Open cases, obtain supporting documents, and maintain accurate records in Litify.
- Handle a high volume of calls while providing clear, professional, and compassionate client service.
- Track case activity, outstanding documents, and follow-up deadlines to keep matters moving.
- Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, medical providers, and internal teams to obtain necessary information.
- Explain administrative next steps, provide updates, and refer legal questions to the appropriate attorney.
- Meet departmental expectations for responsiveness, accuracy, productivity, and timely follow-up.
What You Bring
- At least two years of plaintiff personal injury intake or pre-litigation case management experience.
- Experience opening and tracking insurance claims and coordinating with clients, carriers, and medical providers.
- Bilingual English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high call volume and a large caseload while meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency with Litify, Salesforce, or comparable legal case management software.
Experience supporting New York personal injury cases is preferred.
Work Location
This position works on-site Monday through Friday at our New York office, located at 535 Fifth Avenue, Suite 2600.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
- 1+ years of experience as a New York Intake Case Manager or New York Personal Injury Case Manager in a plaintiff personal injury law firm.
- Demonstrated experience handling bodily injury claims, pre-litigation case management, property damage claims, PIP, medical records and bill collection, insurance communications, subrogation matters, attorney liens, and demand preparation.
- Excellent client communication, organization, and case management skills, with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently.
