Intake Specialist Non Clinical

The Intake Specialist – Utilization Management (Non-Clinical) provides administrative and operational support to the Utilization Management (UM) Department by serving as the first point of contact for utilization management requests. This role is strictly non-clinical and does not involve the evaluation, interpretation, or application of clinical criteria or medical judgment.

The Intake Specialist supports continuity, accuracy, and timeliness of UM workflows by receiving requests, confirming eligibility, creating cases, entering initial data into the UM platform, and routing requests to the appropriate clinical reviewer in accordance with established policies and procedures.
