The Integration & Data Migration Specialist ensures accurate, secure, and efficient data movement and integration between systems during implementations, upgrades, and ongoing operations. The role designs, develops, and maintains data integration and migration solutions, including extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, APIs, and automated data flows, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and business continuity. Depending on level, the specialist contributes to or leads data mapping, integration design, validation, automation, and continuous improvement of data frameworks.

Responsibilities:

  • Rebuild the integration process from the database up, writing the programming to bring data from one source to another across multiple procedures.

  • Work with SQL Server, including writing and maintaining SQL procedures.

  • Review and build on existing documentation for the integration flow.

  • Join meetings with the involved parties as part of knowledge transfer and requirements gathering.

Must Have:

  • Strong SQL Server experience, including hands-on work writing SQL procedures.

  • Data migration experience, ideally from projects moving data from an old system to a new one.

  • Ability to onboard quickly and work independently once requirements are clear.

  • Comfortable owning the technical rebuild without needing close supervision.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Dynamics to Workday migrations.
