Integration Developer – SC Active

Salary: £25,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements:

• SC Active or recently lapsed clearance
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as an integration developer or in a similar role, with knowledge of data integration concepts and technologies
• Familiarity with integration platforms and tools such as SSMS, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and Logic Apps
• Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL
• Strong understanding of data formats, protocols, and standards, such as JSON, XML, REST, and SOAP
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality integration solutions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing requirements and priorities

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to gather integration requirements and define workflows
• Design data mappings, transformations, and message schemas for exchanging data between systems
• Develop, test, and deploy integration solutions using integration platforms, middleware, and programming languages
• Write integration code, configure connectors, and implement error-handling mechanisms to support data integrity and reliability
• Use platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Apache Camel to build and deploy integration solutions, including configuring integration flows, connectors, and APIs
• Implement data transformation logic to convert formats, structures, and protocols between source and target systems
• Develop reusable components, functions, and templates to streamline data integration processes
• Conduct unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to validate functionality, performance, and reliability
• Troubleshoot issues, debug errors, and implement fixes to support smooth operation of integration processes
• Document integration designs, configurations, and implementation details for maintenance and troubleshooting
• Provide status updates, progress reports, and issue resolutions to stakeholders and team members
• Collaborate with developers, testers, business analysts, and stakeholders to align integration solutions with business requirements
• Communicate technical concepts, project status, and risks to key stakeholders
• Stay up to date on emerging technologies, integration patterns, and data integration best practices
• Participate in training, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions
