Role Overview
We are looking for a versatile Full Stack & Data Integration Engineer to support frontend and backend application implementation, data ingestion, system integration, CI/CD, and production-readiness activities. The role will contribute to operational dashboards and interactive command-centre interfaces, while also building reliable backend services and data pipelines on AWS.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop responsive and interactive web user interfaces for operational dashboards, data visualisation, and command-centre or videowall use cases.
- Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, integration components, and data-ingestion jobs.
- Integrate frontend applications with APIs, streaming or near-real-time data services, authentication, and backend platforms.
- Implement ingestion from files, APIs, databases, event streams, or object storage into cloud data platforms.
- Build reliable processing with validation, error handling, retries, idempotency, quarantine, logging, and recovery support.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, source-control workflows, automated testing, deployment packaging, and environment promotion.
- Support containerised workloads and cloud runtime services such as ECS/Fargate, Lambda, Glue, or equivalent.
- Implement monitoring, metrics, logs, alerts, health checks, and operational evidence capture.
- Collaborate with UX designers, data engineers, architects, QA, cloud/DevOps, and application teams through SIT/UAT, security testing, deployment, and handover.
- Prepare technical documentation, configuration guides, and operational runbooks.
Qualifications
Requirements (Must-Have)
- 3+ years of experience in full stack software engineering, frontend/backend development, data integration, DevOps, or related implementation roles.
- Hands-on frontend development experience using a modern framework such as React, Angular, or Vue, together with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience developing responsive dashboards, data-driven interfaces, or interactive web applications.
- Strong programming skills in at least one backend language such as Python, Java, or Node.js/TypeScript.
- Experience building and integrating REST APIs, backend services, or data-ingestion components.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and Git-based development workflows.
- Experience with AWS services, containerisation, IAM, logging, and monitoring.
- Understanding of production engineering practices, including testing, deployment, rollback, error handling, security, and operational support.
Plus Points (Advantage)
- Experience with real-time or near-real-time dashboards, WebSockets, event-driven interfaces, large-screen displays, command centres, or interactive videowalls.
- Experience with frontend charting or visualisation libraries such as ECharts, D3.js, Plotly, Highcharts, or equivalent.
- Experience with ECS/Fargate, Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, EventBridge, Kinesis, Kafka, or similar services.
- Experience integrating with Databricks, Snowflake, S3, Tableau, or enterprise data platforms.
- Infrastructure-as-code exposure such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with XML/JSON, file-based ingestion, cross-account access, or high-volume data transfer.
- AWS, DevOps, software engineering, data engineering, AI/ML, or GenAI-related certification(s).
