AbouttheProject

Thisrolesitsattheintersectionofproduct,engineering,andexternalplatformsandisheavilyfocusedonpracticalAPIintegrationwork.You'llworkwithexistingproductandengineeringteamstounderstandintegrationgoals,investigateexternalAPIs,mapandtransformdata,implementintegrationlogic,troubleshootissues,andhelpdeliverreliableintegrationexperiences.Thisisagreatroleforastrongmid-levelengineerwhoiscomfortableworkingindependentlyoncethegoalandgeneraldirectionareclear.

Responsibilities:

• Owntheend-to-endlifecycleofintegrations,fromdesignanddevelopmenttodeploymentandongoingoptimization
• Buildandmaintainscalableintegrationswiththird-partyplatforms,APIs,andexternalservices
• Developfull-stackfeaturesusingNode.js,React,andTypeScript,withastrongfocusonbackendarchitecture
• Partnercross-functionallywithProduct, Design,andEngineeringtodeliverseamless,user-centricintegrationexperiences
• Diagnoseandresolvecomplexintegrationissues,ensuringhighreliabilityanduptime
• Managemultipleintegrationprojectssimultaneously,balancingspeedwithqualityandlong-termmaintainability

Requirements

Must-have:

• Strongsoftwareengineeringfundamentals,includingAPIs,datamodels,databases,authenticationconcepts,andapplicationarchitecture
• Hands-onexperienceworkingwithAPIsandthird-partyintegrations
• Solidfull-stackexperience,withtheabilitytocontributeacrossbackendandfrontendwhenneeded
• ExperiencewithNode.js,TypeScript,PostgreSQL,andReact
• Product-orientedmindsetwithafocusondeliveringrealuservalue,notjusttechnicaloutput
• Abilitytooperateindependently,prioritizeeffectively,andmanagemultipleworkstreams
• Strongcommunicationskills,fluentEnglish,with4-5hoursofoverlapwithUS Central Time
