Integration Engineer
Salary: ₱40,000 – ₱50,000 per month
About the role
This role will own the technical integration between an external exposure scanner and a client platform, ensuring reliable API communication, secure job processing, data delivery, testing, and end-to-end integration.
Key responsibilities
Design and maintain API/data contracts between independently deployed systems
Build integrations for scan jobs, status updates, findings, context, and evidence
Implement idempotency, retries, error handling, and versioning
Develop integration test fixtures, payloads, and contract tests
Work with external engineering teams on data mapping and integration requirements
Support staging, end-to-end testing, pilot troubleshooting, and technical documentation
Ensure integration failures are observable and recoverable
About you
Senior-level experience in backend/integration engineering
Strong experience with REST APIs, JSON, schemas, webhooks/messaging, and distributed systems
Solid understanding of API versioning, authentication, idempotency, retries, and error handling
Experience with Azure Service Bus or similar asynchronous messaging platforms
Experience integrating independently deployed systems
Strong testing and documentation practices
Security awareness, particularly around authorization and sensitive data
