We are partnering with a leading enterprise integration consultancy to deploy a seasoned Integration Engineer into a high-profile, complex program.
We are partnering with a leading enterprise integration consultancy to deploy a seasoned Integration Engineer into a high-profile, complex program.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between robust legacy messaging architectures and modern, cloud-native backend environments. You will be responsible for building high-throughput APIs, implementing mission-critical enterprise integration patterns (A2A), and supporting event-driven architectures.
Core Technical Stack & Experience Required:
- Proven Track Record: 5 to 8+ years of deep backend or integration engineering experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Java Mastery: Strong, hands-on development skills utilizing Java and Spring Boot.
- Messaging & Middleware: Mandatory experience with IBM MQ. Recent hands-on experience with IBM Message Broker is highly preferred.
- Containerisation: Active, practical experience deploying and managing workloads on Docker and Red Hat OpenShift.
- Architecture & Delivery: Deep understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP / A2A) and event-driven systems, backed by experience working with CI/CD automation pipelines.

While the ideal candidate has recent, dual experience in both IBM MQ and IBM Message Broker / ACE, we are highly open to elite enterprise integration specialists who have strong MQ experience and a proven ability to upskill rapidly on the ACE ecosystem.
