We foster a culture of transparency and flexibility, empowering our team members with the context and freedom to drive real impact.

The role
As an Integration Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping how TimeEdit connects with the wider academic ecosystem. You will design, build and maintain scalable, secure and reliable integrations that enable seamless data flow across systems.

Following the launch of our first native integration with Microsoft Outlook, we are now expanding into new, high-impact integrations that will further strengthen TimeEdit’s position as the leading Academic Operations Platform.

You’ll be part of a small, dedicated team responsible for defining integration patterns, frameworks, and best practices that ensure consistency and long-term maintainability. The role spans from architecture and design to implementation and monitoring, working hands-on to bring integrations into production.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain high-quality integrations between TimeEdit and third-party systems.
  • Build APIs, webhooks, and event-driven pipelines using our core tech stack (Node.js, TypeScript, Pub/Sub, MongoDB, GCP).
  • Ensure scalability, reliability, and security through robust architecture, monitoring and error handling.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers and customer-facing teams to translate functional needs into technical solutions.
  • Define and evolve our integration framework, promoting reusability and alignment across teams.
  • Contribute to documentation and internal tooling that enable faster and more consistent integration development.

Your profile

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of authentication and authorization protocols.
  • Proven ability to design scalable and maintainable systems, with solid knowledge of monitoring, logging and error recovery patterns.
  • Collaborative mindset, comfortable working with both technical and non-technical people.
