Integration Platform Engineer — MuleSoft (Lisbon, Hybrid)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal — Hybrid


We're looking for two experienced Integration Platform Engineers to join a platform engineering and operations team within an international, cross-functional technical environment, supporting the reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement of integration platform operations.


What you'll do:

  • Deliver platform operations support, incident management, and troubleshooting within SLA timelines
  • Manage platform capacity and performance, including utilization monitoring and growth forecasting
  • Design and maintain automation scripts and self-healing/auto-remediation solutions to reduce manual effort
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis and drive continuous service improvement
  • Support deployments, releases, and major incident restoration
  • Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles
  • Act as an interface between internal and external providers in an international context

What you bring:

  • 5-7 years of MuleSoft platform operations experience (not API development)
  • Experience with MuleSoft Omni Gateway (Flex Gateway)
  • Terraform, GitHub, OpenShift
  • ArgoCD / Argo CI-CD
  • API security standards (OAuth, OpenID)
  • AWS and Azure — foundational level
  • ITIL process experience
  • Strong stakeholder communication in a multicultural, international environment
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • English — C1 level
  • Availability for occasional short-term travel or temporary relocation

Nice to have: XML/XSD/WSDL/WS-*, Java, JSON, networking fundamentals (VIPs, firewalls, load balancers), certificate lifecycle management, SOAPUI/Postman, Linux
