What you’ll do…

  • Design COCC products and interfaces based on customer, vendor, and industry requirements
  • Compose bug fix documentation and functional specifications
  • Document product designs and procedures
  • Serve as a technical liaison during new product implementations
  • Participate in product planning and design meetings and review proposed solutions
  • Evaluate business and system impacts across multiple areas
  • Stay current on industry trends and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Develop test plans and testing procedures for enhancements and version releases
  • Test and review new products, releases, and documentation
  • Research and troubleshoot issues identified during testing
  • Collaborate with developers on redesign needs and testing follow up
  • Assist with release notes and system documentation
  • Perform testing of implemented designs and complete regression testing for assigned applications
  • Respond to Customer Service inquiries related to regulations, industry requirements, and product functionality
  • Analyze client issues related to design flaws and recommend solutions
  • Deliver training on application changes and enhancements as needed
  • Support off hours production issues when required
  • Assist with project and resource planning activities
  • Coordinate release planning and testing efforts with internal teams, vendors, and customers
  • Recommend process improvements
  • Maintain project plans, status reporting, and enhancement work estimates as needed
  • Provide technical assistance to less senior systems staff

What you’ll bring…

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3 to 4 years of systems design or configuration experience in a banking or financial services environment
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret banking periodicals, professional and technical journals, and technical procedures
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid analytical skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a demanding environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of banking applications and application integrations
  • Strong knowledge of programming concepts
  • Strong knowledge of relational database concepts
  • Ability to write and interpret functional specifications

The salary range for this job is $80,100-$120,100. This is a hybrid position in Southington, CT.
