Intelligence Analyst 1
Summary
Entry-level intelligence analyst role for recent graduates entering the Intelligence Community: performing all-source and open-source research on national security matters, exploiting raw intelligence, briefing personnel, and supporting information sharing between government agencies. Requires a Top Secret clearance; based in Huntsville, AL with extensive training provided.
What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):
- Perform all source and open source research and analysis on matters of national security to support ongoing investigations and intelligence collection
- Exploit data from specific sources and raw intelligence, and compile them to validate intelligence collection requirements
- Help to facilitate the exchange of information between government agencies
- Brief personnel on various national security programs and procedures
- Disseminate information, work directly with agents and analysts to facilitate intelligence collection on specific threats to national security
- Work closely with government personnel to support audit preparation and assist in the development of agency and unit/program policy.
Ideally, You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree; Political Science, Government Affairs or International Affairs preferred but not required OR four (4) years of experience in the IC community and/or law enforcement experience.
- Desire to work as an Analyst in the IC
- TS Clearance
- US Citizen
- Interest in national security, cyber crimes, international studies, counterintelligence or similiar areas preferred but not required.
