Intelligence Specialist (Cyber)

About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located with INSCOM, 780th MI BDE/781st BN at Fort Meade, Maryland.

Conduct offensive Computer Network Operations (CNO), network reconnaissance and vulnerability analyses of system networks and or hosts.

Conduct open-source data collection via various online tools.

Collect raw intelligence critical to operational objectives while performing cyberspace operations.

Provide and maintain draft documentation for cyberspace operations and CNO tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) as inputs to training programs.

Test and evaluate locally developed tools for operational use.
