Intelligence Specialist (Operations Support)

About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the 780th Military Intelligence Brigade, located at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland.

Serves as INSCOM/Army Cyber Command S-3 Readiness Officer for readiness policy, tracking, and analysis.

Serves as INSCOM/Army Cyber Command S-3 proponent for AR 220-1 and is the S-3’s subject matter expert on readiness reporting policy, tracking and analysis.

Subject matter expert on readiness research as it relates to all Cyber and Military Intelligence systems and equipment.

Serves as the Cyber and Military Intelligence readiness coordinator and integrator for INSCOM/Army Cyber Command G-3 and S-3 sections within Subordinate Battalions.

Recommends courses of action to the INSCOM/Army Cyber Command G-3 on INSCOM/Army Cyber Command Cyberspace Operational Domain and Intelligence Warfighting Functions capability.

Serves in a secondary role as a planner and integrator for Force Management and Cyber and Military Intelligence Sourcing for INSCOM/Army Cyber Command.

As a Cyber Readiness Specialist, integrates, coordinates, and synchronizes readiness actions ICW INSCOM/Army Cyber Command G-3 Divisions/Branches and G-33 ORD.

Analyzes and compiles current projections of Cyber and MI readiness in order to inform and recommend viable solutions to senior leaders.

Collaborates, synchronizes, and executes Cyber and MI integration and FM issues with Division/Branch members and INSCOM/Army Cyber Command staff elements.
