Intelligence Specialist (Operations)

About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the 704TH MI Brigade, 742ND MI BTN, Foundry Detachment Fort Drum NY.

Serves as Senior Cryptologic Training Officer representing INSCOM and the Army Cryptologic Operations (ACO) with responsibilities for coordinating training opportunities.

Prepare, present and coordinate Army training requirements with national level agencies, Cryptologic and Operations Centers, Theater Army Commands, and local Commanders.

Represent assigned Tactical Units at high-level forums, working groups and committees which review, coordinate and approve Tactical Overwatch mission/training requirements, concepts and activities for worldwide implementation by Tactical Forces.

Interfaces with Senior Officers of Unified and Combatant Commanders, Corps and Division Commanders, Sister Services, as well as numerous Army HQ staffs, on a variety of issues affecting National Tactical Integration training requirements.
