Intelligence Specialist (S&T Analyst)
About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Cyber Military Intelligence Group (CMIG), located at Fort Gordon, Georgia.
Serves as a Senior Intelligence Specialist in the Cyber Military Intelligence Group (CMIG) Analysis and Control Element (ACE) performing intelligence tasks and/or threat research and analysis.
Conducts cyber operations directed at the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) and DoDIN-Army (DoDIN-A), Nation State Influence Operations directed against the US and US Army interests.
Produces scientific and technical (S and T) intelligence products, including forecasts and overall capabilities assessments in a difficult and complex intelligence subject area which has application to major customer requirements.
Reviews, evaluates, and interprets basic, current, and projected technical intelligence data on foreign research development and technological advances in assigned areas.
Provides cyber threat intelligence support to exercises, and serves as intelligence representative, liaison, site survey officer, and focal point staff officer as directed.
Presents, advocates, and articulates command position, orally and in writing, within the intelligence and operational communities.
