INTERDISCIPLINARY ARCHITECT/CIVIL ENGINEER/MECHANICAL ENGINEER/ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Responsible for day to day contract administration including all acquisition processes including design, and construction for the Resident Office in support of the Military and Civil Works Programs.

Serve as an Administrative Contracting Officer, directing work changes to include negotiating and resolving contract modifications not to exceed $500,000 as outlined in the letter of delegation as issued by the Contracting Officer.

Direct and oversee studies required for field changes and contract modifications including the preparation of sketches and cost estimates; determines effect on construction schedule, and other data required in the preparation of change orders.

Plan and recommend all appropriate inspection and testing to ensure that all construction performed under surveillance is accomplished in accordance with contract plans and specifications.
